What is a lash lift?
In the most simple terms it’s known as a keratin lash perm. Yes, the lashes are adhered to tiny perm rods! This is a service only for natural eyelashes. Then, the lashes are tinted in a vivid blackest black. This is a very important step because it makes your lashes show up and show off! Lastly, a keratin sealer is used to help extend the life of the lift and prevent the tint from fading.
Can you still wear mascara after a lash lift?
Yes! It is not mandatory, plenty of clients love to not wear mascara and enjoy the enhancement from the lift. When the 24 hour aftercare period is over, mascara can be worn as normal. In fact, the first time you apply mascara after the service, you will be completely impressed again! The first swipe glides on so smoothly.
How does a lash lift compare to eyelash extensions?
A lash lift is nothing like extensions. There are no harsh glues that can cause irritation or painful eyelids. Lash extensions can’t be rubbed, washed and dried like normal. If you sleep on your side, the lashes will get squashed. Once extensions are removed, you see the damage that is done with the loss of natural eyelashes. The weight of an extension if far outweighs a natural eyelash. In turn, which causes lash loss even to the healthiest lashes. The maintenance for extensions is very high, visits are twice a month and up to two hours per session. This will cost you a lot time and money.
The maintenance of a lift is very low. The visits are eight weeks apart and about 45 minutes per session. A lash lift will enhance your eyes, making the look more awake along with giving you instant gratification.
